Kerim Aytac was born in Istanbul, grew up in London, where he is based, and studied at a French school. He finds the idea of language and translation interesting in his work. He studied film for his degree and photography for his masters. He has exhibited widely in both solo and group shows. He is a teacher of film and the head of arts at a school.
